FAQ

What Miro plans does Rewind work with?

Rewind Backups integrates exclusively with the Miro Enterprise plan. Due to limitations with the Miro API, other plans are not currently supported.

What permissions are required to link Rewind with Miro?

To link Rewind with Miro, the person performing the link must have “Company Admin” permissions in Miro. If the person linking is not a Company Admin, an error message will appear: “Invalid permissions. Please re-link with a Company Admin account.” Creating and using a dedicated service account for this purpose is recommended.

Can Rewind access all teams and boards within my Miro organization?

By default, Rewind can only access what the Company Admin has permission to view. This means we do not automatically have access to all teams and their respective boards. If required, you will be prompted to approve this access after linking Miro with Rewind.

Rewind Backups for Miro provides comprehensive backup and recovery for a wide range of data types, including:

What is the retention period for the backups?

Can I perform on-demand backups?

Yes, Rewind Backups for Miro allows you to perform on-demand backups outside your automated schedule with just one click, giving you flexibility and control over when your data is backed up.

Are there any limitations on backing up tags?

Yes, with Miro, Rewind can back up a maximum of 8 tags per item and 100 tags per board. This limitation is due to constraints with the Miro API.

What security measures are in place for backups?
